Hazardous Location Lighting Retrofit Adapters
Most of the cost of an HID-to-LED conversion in a classified area sits in the conduit work, not the luminaire. The GATH retrofit adapter avoids it: the old fixture comes off, the adapter fits the mount that is already on the conduit, and a LEDEX LED luminaire installs on the adapter. Four models cover the installed base — GATH-CH for Eaton's Crouse-Hinds Champ®, GATH-A3 for Appleton® Mercmaster III, GATH-KL for Killark® Certilite® and Certilite® V, and GATH-TB for Thomas & Betts Hazlux® — across their pendant, ceiling, wall and stanchion mounts. The adapter is copper-free aluminum with a polyester powder coat, a silicone gasket and stainless steel hardware, for Class I, Division 2, Groups A to D, wet locations, Type 4X and IP66.
