1. Use of the Site

You may use the Site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to interfere with the normal operation of the Site, attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site or its systems, or use any automated means to scrape or harvest content from the Site without our prior written consent.

2. Product Information

The Site presents information about explosion proof lighting, hazardous location fixtures, and related industrial electrical products. While we strive to keep product specifications, certifications, ratings, and availability accurate and up to date, this information is provided for general reference only and may change without notice.

Product suitability for a specific hazardous location classification (e.g., Class I Division 1/2, Zone 1/2) must always be confirmed against the manufacturer's official documentation, the applicable certification markings on the product itself, and the requirements of the authority having jurisdiction. Nothing on the Site constitutes engineering, electrical, or code-compliance advice.

3. Photometric Estimator

The Site includes a photometric estimation tool that produces approximate lighting layouts and illuminance estimates based on simplified models and user-supplied inputs. Results are estimates only and are provided for preliminary planning purposes.

Estimator output is not a substitute for a professional photometric study or for design work performed by a qualified engineer or lighting designer, and must not be relied upon as the sole basis for the design, installation, or certification of any lighting system, particularly in hazardous or safety-critical environments.

4. Quotes and Orders

Any quote request submitted through the Site is an invitation to discuss a potential transaction and does not constitute a binding order. Pricing, lead times, and availability communicated through the Site or in response to inquiries are subject to confirmation. Sales of products are governed by the terms agreed at the time of sale, which prevail over these Terms in case of conflict.

5. Intellectual Property

The Site and its content — including text, graphics, logos, illustrations, diagrams, photographs, software, and the design and arrangement thereof — are owned by LEDEX or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Product names, brand names, and certification marks belonging to third parties are the property of their respective owners.

You may view, download, and print content from the Site for your internal business or personal use. Any other reproduction, distribution, or modification of Site content without our prior written consent is prohibited.

6. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including manufacturer documentation and certification bodies. These links are provided for convenience only. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party websites.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement, except where such warranties cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under the laws of the Province of Quebec, including liability for bodily or moral injury.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LEDEX from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the Province of Quebec.
