Explosion-Proof Flood Lighting

LED flood lights for process yards, marine decks, mine surfaces and industrial perimeters. TITAN, FORTRESS and VANGUARD include hazardous-location configurations; NEXUS serves high-output non-classified industrial areas. Select from the authenticated classification drawing first, then compare the model's Canadian approval, group, temperature code, ambient range, optic and mount. Send the mounting height and target light level for an IES-based layout and fixture schedule.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about explosion-proof flood lighting and hazardous location requirements.

A C1D1 flood light such as the TITAN is approved for locations where flammable gas or vapour is expected under normal operation and is built to contain an internal ignition. C1D2 floods such as FORTRESS and VANGUARD are approved for locations where the hazard occurs only under abnormal conditions. A C1D1 fixture may be used in a Division 2 area; the reverse is not permitted.
